I sent a birthday wish to a friend whom I have not been in touch with for at least five years. Wished her Happy Teachers Day as well. Text aku berbunyik cam ya: “Salam Ms X. Happy Birthday and Happy Teachers Day. Panjang umur, murah rezeki and happy always.” Signed, me.
Her response was:
Tqvm
After five years and one birthday wish, I was left wondering if I am not worth of a “How are you?” text. Mmm…tqvm lah kan.
Exactly my thought, Lisa. I even told myself that a friend like this is no friend no more lah. Not worth my sentiment. She’s simply (from my) history.
But hey, she did say thank you. To most people cukup dah lah. I je yang expected lebeh-lebeh, bebeh! Kawan tak tanya kabar pun nak mengadu kat blog. Sodah lah Enida!
Penat jer mengarang doa dari hati untuk kawan, tapi dpt reply yang sgt haprak.I know how you feel, I often get that too.Infact, I ALWAYS get those kind of reply.
Makes me wonder how worthy I am as a friend to that particular friend.
Nevertheless, TQVM for an insightful entry.Kisses to Kitty & Edrick!

I rasa you should ‘delete’ terus her name from your handphone … buat menyemak jer : )
