It was just too much to bear. The loss of Bibik’s baby. And I am missing my mother and my sisters like it’s my business alone. I had to cry it out. So, for the very first time I went and watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! Yes, honest to God it was my first time. Cik Nan once told me about this Anjali movie, I didn’t realize it was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, so I went looking for Anjali.

Now that I’ve found Anjali, am fighting fire with fire, tears with tears, recalling more than what I should about mere pehla pyar, something is happening to my heart. Kya karoon haaye?

It’s difficult not to like the Kuch kuch. But I don’t quite like it that the wife awal2 dah gone. Sedih from the very beginning. I am always for the wife you know, us being the wife, so wife kena menang all the time.

Tu laaa Nik… I needed to cry but I needed the mangkin to do that. Since it was late, takkan kan turun ke dapur potong bawak pulak kan. Tu yang pegi cari Anjali and Rahul tu. Nak tompang nangis. Oh boy! Did I ever cry. Sampai my hubby got up at 2am to check on me if I was ok. He could hear me sroohh-srehh sobbing at the computer. I slept well after that, though.

Oh…goodness me. Bollywood marathon?
It wasn’t even a marathon, dear. Hehe. In fact, I didn’t start from the very beginning – just watched Part 15-21 on YouTube. And guess, what? 🙂 This is my first Hindi movie in uh, probably 20 years! Eh no! I lied. I did let myself drown with the Slumdog Millionaire last year. So yeah, make it 19 years without Hindi movies. No wonder I was beginning to feel like an extra in the Smallville series. Thanks to my brother Lam (who speaks Hindi) for re-tincturing my life with Hindi songs and movies. It all happened when he started bluetoothing all Dhoom’s OSTs to my phone. 🙂
