My Favorite People
This photo was taken in 2008. Kitreena was 6, Edrick was 3, Bibik was 40. And I was miserable.
The only peace I could find then was when I took these favorite people of mine to (then) The Guoman Resort (now Thistle), in between visits with my Mom at HUKM.
Once, during Mom’s breakaway from the wards, she requested to be taken to a beach. I took her here. She played in the sand like a child. A happy child.
I have not taken Monchies back to this private beach since 2009. Since Bibik left, since Mom’s passing and since Monchies and I went to Moscow and since we came back.
It is no longer a favorite place for the remaining of my favorite people who are here with me, my Monchies. But maybe it deserves another visit.
Just maybe.
